PTX を変換できない理由
PTX は Leica Cyclone 独自のクローズドな形式です。内部構造が非公開のため、オープンソースのライブラリでは読み取れません。Leica Cyclone 以外の変換ツールがファイルを開けないのはこのためです。
有効な方法：ファイルを Leica Cyclone で開き、E57 形式でエクスポートしてください。E57 なら確実に変換できます。

Point Cloud Text（PTX）は主に3D Scanning and Surveyingに使用される3Dファイル形式です。
