Convert3D.app ("Convert3D", "we", "us") is a free online tool for converting, compressing, and previewing 3D model files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Convert3D.app is operated by an individual based in Vietnam. 2.1 Files you upload. When you use the Convert tool, the file you upload is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our conversion server for processing. The uploaded file and the resulting converted file are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 1 hour of upload. We do not access, view, or share the contents of your files except as necessary to perform the conversion, respond to abuse reports, or comply with a legal obligation.

The Compress and Viewtools run entirely in your web browser using WebAssembly and WebGL. Files you use with Compress or View are never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers — they never leave your device.

2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit Convert3D.app, our servers and infrastructure providers may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this information for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and to understand aggregate usage of the site.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies, e.g. to remember your language preference.
• Advertising cookies: Convert3D.app may display ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site functions.

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Convert, Compress, and View tools.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations, including responding to copyright complaints — see our DMCA Policy.
• To serve advertising, where applicable, via third-party ad networks.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of files you upload for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Infrastructure and processing providers who perform the file conversion on our behalf, strictly to deliver the Convert feature.
• Advertising partners (e.g., Google), for the purpose of serving ads, subject to their own privacy policies.
• Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Convert3D, our users, or the public.

• Uploaded and converted files (Convert tool only) are deleted automatically within 1 hour.
• Server and access logs are retained for a limited period (up to 30 days) for security purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
• Files used with Compress or View are never transmitted to us and therefore are never retained by us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), including the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (Convert3D does not sell personal information).

Convert3D.app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use industry-standard measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and automatic deletion of uploaded files, to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Convert3D.app may use third-party services, including:

• Google AdSense, for displaying advertising. Google's use of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Hosting/CDN and file-processing infrastructure providers, to operate the Convert feature.

These third parties may process data under their own privacy policies, independent of this one.

Because Convert3D.app is accessed globally, information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Vietnam and the location of our hosting/infrastructure providers, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
